The Base: Greenery You Provide

Start with a planter you already own, then build a full base with greenery suited to your site. Fresh cedar or pine can come from a local supplier; suitable faux greens are another option. The planter and all fresh materials are supplied by you, not included in either DIY kit. The two kit styles provide the other listed components that add height and finishing accents to that base.

The Focal Point

Choose one strong line that reads from the street. The Classic Red kit uses red willow and berry stems; Black and Gold uses black and white willow with black ruscus. Work those elements into the greenery you provide, then judge their height from the walkway. Lanterns, birch and oversized ornaments shown in custom installations should not be assumed to arrive in either kit. The Classic Red product page specifically excludes birch poles.

The Accents That Make It Feel Finished

The finishing pieces depend on the style you select. Classic Red lists three berry stems, two large white-tip pinecones and three white-wash pods alongside red willow. Black and Gold lists four white-wash long pinecones, five white-tip pinecones, two white-wash pods, three black bell cups and three gold balls alongside black and white willow and black ruscus.
