Mandevilla and Dipladenia are essentially the exac Mandevilla and Dipladenia are essentially the exact same flower and same leaf. The biggest difference is that Mandevilla will climb, which is why you usually see them for sale on a trellis, and Dipladenia is more of a lazy, droopy vine that will bush out the base of your Mandevilla - which can sometimes feel bare! So if you’re buying a mandevilla centerpiece - be sure to buy 4-6 Dipladenia to plant around the base!

Sometimes I can be overwhelming and buying multiple tiny plugs or 3-4” pots will have your arrangement looking very underwhelming and unfinished. For some instant drama, try a hanging basket! Petunias fill out quit nicely. Pair it with a banana leaf centerpiece and some sweet potatoe vines - these both fill in a lot! You’ll have a simple but lush planter design! Save this to try yourself!

These bowls have 4-6 plants in them that can be separated and spread out in your larger planter to fill in for a bit cheaper! ✅less thinking on your end because plants are already paired in a similar color palette and sun exposure needs ✅usually cheaper then buying all individual little pots that add up. Pair it with a spiller like creeping Jenny that comes back each year (cost effective) and a dramatic filler like a palm and you’ve got a lovely cost effective planter! Save this to try yourself 🌿

Add landscape fabric, a layer of gravel, and fill the rest with Miracle-Gro potting mix to help prevent soggy roots while giving your plants the nutrients they need to thrive all season long. 2️⃣ Take plants out of their nursery pots Those tiny pots restrict root growth! Remove every plant before arranging your planter so they have room to grow big, lush, and full.
