How to Keep Seasonal Planters Looking Full

If a planter looks sparse, the answer is usually not more flowers. It needs a stronger base, better height, and enough foliage to fill the spaces between the focal details.
Start with volume
Use branches, evergreen, or a fuller central plant to create the outline. Then add smaller accents where the arrangement needs colour or texture. Keep the front edge lower so the container still reads as part of the design.
Repeat the foliage
